Danyal Hassan graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan. After completing his medical degree, he performed his Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship at University of Pittsburgh, PA.

Dr. Hassan joined the Nephrology field as he was inspired by excellent mentors during residency, clinicians who made Nephrology look like an art, an art to think and solve the most complex clinical cases. He has been practicing Clinical and Interventional Nephrology since 2005. Later he moved with DaVita Dialysis to help establish the first free standing Vascular Access Center in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Hassan joined KSOSN as it gave him the opportunity to work as a part time Nephrologist and keep him updated with the ever-changing world of Nephrology and medical practice. This also gives him the opportunity to practice Interventional Nephrology. He is dedicated to patient care and believes that with making changes in lifestyle, diet and with good patient counselling and preventive measures, the global rise in CKD can be controlled. Nephrology is evolving with advancement in dialysis, CKD, and transplantation. Prevention and early detection are the key for better health.

He loves to spend time with his family and parents. He is married with 3 children and likes to travel, paint and calligraphy.
