Dr. Bindu Khanna already had a Pharmacy degree when a physician mentor recognized her
talents and guided her toward a career in nephrology. The combination of hard science and hands-on patient care
immediately appealed to her.
In her practice, Dr. Bindu Khanna is committed to educating primary care doctors
and the public about kidney disease and its complications. She stresses CKD prevention strategies, principally
among high-risk populations. Dr. Khanna has particular interest in electrolytes and glomerulonephritis, a form
of CKD that affects the kidney’s ability to filter waste and fluids from the blood.
