1.What is changing with KSOSN laboratory services?
Beginning August 24, 2026, KSOSN will offer in-house laboratory services for our patients. This service provides a more convenient experience by bringing eligible laboratory testing closer to your kidney care team.
2.Who can use KSOSN’s in-house laboratory services?
KSOSN’s in-house laboratory services are available exclusively for KSOSN patients who have laboratory orders from a KSOSN provider.
3.Why is KSOSN offering in-house laboratory services?
KSOSN’s in-house laboratory services provide faster results, improving the quality of care for our patients.
4.Do I need an appointment to have my labs completed?
Patients with a KSOSN laboratory order may complete eligible lab testing during their scheduled visit or by stopping by the office during available laboratory hours.

5.What types of lab tests can be completed through KSOSN’s in-house laboratory?
Your KSOSN provider will determine which laboratory tests are appropriate for you. Not all tests may be available through our in-house laboratory, and some testing may still need to be completed through an outside laboratory provider based on the test requirements or your insurance plan.
6.What insurance plans are accepted for KSOSN in-house laboratory services?
Insurance coverage is subject to individual plan benefits, eligibility, and requirements. To see if your plan is accepted, contact our office at (702) 877-1887.
7.Will I still be able to use an outside laboratory?
Yes. If your insurance plan requires a specific laboratory provider or if a test cannot be completed through KSOSN’s in-house laboratory, your care team will let you know where your laboratory testing should be completed.
8.Will my lab results still be available to my KSOSN provider?
Yes. Laboratory results will continue to be reviewed by your KSOSN care team and incorporated into your ongoing treatment plan.
9.Where are KSOSN’s in-house laboratory services available?
In-house laboratory services are available at participating KSOSN office locations.
