Kidney Health Tip of the Month

Move daily. Regular physical activity supports kidney function, controls blood pressure, and improves overall wellness.

Educational Spotlight

Move More, Protect More

Staying active is one of the best ways to support your heart, muscles, balance, and overall well-being — even with kidney disease. This month, we’re focusing on safe, realistic ways to stay active while preventing complications and injury.

For Nephrology Patients:

Regular, gentle activity can help control blood pressure, improve energy, and support kidney health. Activities like walking, stretching, or light strength training can be safe and effective when done at your own pace. Always listen to your body and talk with your care team about what’s right for you.

For Dialysis Patients:

Movement before or after dialysis treatments can help improve circulation, reduce stiffness, and boost energy. Even small amounts of activity — such as chair exercises or light stretching — can make a difference. Consistency is more important than intensity.

For Transplant Patients:

After transplant, rebuilding strength takes time. Gradually increasing activity helps improve stamina, protect your heart, and support your new kidney. Starting slow and following your care team’s guidance helps ensure safe progress.

Remember: Movement doesn’t have to be perfect to be helpful. Small, steady steps add up — and your care team is here to support you as you move toward better health.

Words of Encouragment

Healing is a journey, not a race. Celebrate progress, no matter how small.

March 30th was National Doctors Day!

On March 30th, we proudly celebrated National Doctors’ Day by recognizing the incredible physicians who care for our patients every day. Our doctors go above and beyond to provide compassionate, high-quality care, and we are truly grateful for their dedication, expertise, and commitment to improving the lives of those we serve.

We took time to celebrate and show our appreciation for all that they do, today and every day. Thank you to our amazing providers for making a difference in our patients’ lives!
