BIO
Dr. Mark Vishnepolsky is a board-certified nephrologist who has been caring for patients in Las Vegas for more than a decade. He is a partner at Kidney Specialists of Southern Nevada and serves as Chief of Nephrology at Mountain View Hospital. He also leads the DaVita Five Star Dialysis Program and the Polycystic Kidney Disease Clinic.
Dr. Vishnepolsky completed his medical training at The Ohio State University and went on to specialize in kidney disease at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center. He previously served in the U.S. Air Force, where he held several leadership roles in nephrology.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Vishnepolsky is active in clinical research and helps advance new treatments for kidney conditions. He also enjoys teaching medical students as an assistant professor at Touro University Nevada.
Originally from Baku, Azerbaijan, Dr. Vishnepolsky has lived in the United States since 1991 and is fluent in Russian. He lives in Las Vegas with his wife and three children. Outside of medicine, he is a jazz lover and former DJ.
