Bio
Jim Bombane is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in nephrology, with over 10 years of nursing experience across skilled nursing, rehabilitation, medical-surgical, OR circulating, and dialysis care. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from United States University in California and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Philippines. He is certified by the AANP and licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nevada and Hawaii.
Jim’s clinical focus includes chronic kidney disease (CKD), end-stage renal disease (ESRD), hypertension, diabetes, dialysis management, and fluid and electrolyte balance. He is experienced in dialysis patient care, vascular access management, chronic disease management, and renal-focused patient education.
He is dedicated to providing patient-centered, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive care. Inspired by a personal connection to kidney disease, Jim is passionate about helping patients better understand and manage their health to improve their quality of life.
Originally from Quezon Province, Philippines, Jim speaks English and Tagalog. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and keeping up with advancements in healthcare.
