BIO

Dr. Sai M. Kottapalli completed his undergraduate education from the University of Toronto in Human Biology in 2011. He went on to obtain his Masters in medical sciences from Boston University School of Medicine in 2013. He then completed his medical degree from the University of New England COM, Maine, in 2017. He was accepted to the direct Integrated Vascular Surgery residency program at the University of Buffalo.

Dr. Kottapalli actively participated in several research studies during residency and has presented at several conferences, including EVS and SCVS, with publication in JVS. His vascular interests include complex endovascular limb salvage for tissue loss, chronic venous thromboembolism, carotid and aneurysmal disease.

Dr. Kottapalli is certified to perform the minimally invasive Transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR) procedure to treat carotid disease. He is also certified in treating aneurysmal disease using various minimally invasive endografts, including Gore, Endologix, Medtronic, and Cook. Dr. Kottapalli participated in the Gore conformable AAA as well as the thoracic branch study for thoracic aneurysms.

Dr. Kottapalli prides himself on a patient-centered approach to the treatment of vascular disease. His services include diagnosis, surveillance, and treatment of vascular pathology using both endovascular and open techniques.

He was raised in Toronto, Canada, and is a native of India. Dr. Kottapalli moved to Las Vegas with his wife, who is a primary care physician, and they hope to establish long-term relationships with their patients for the foreseeable future.
