- SPECIALTY Nephrologist
Dr. James Ogrodowski earned his medical degree from University of Wisconsin Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Southern California and fellowship from Ohio State University. Dr. Ogrodowski was drawn to a career in internal medicine because he loves personal interaction with patients and helping them with their medical problems. He chose a career in nephrology because he has a strong interest in chemistry and physiology. Nephrology is rich in both areas.
Dr. Ogrodowski was born and raised in Wisconsin. His training has taken him across the country, and he has been practicing nephrology since 1991. He was in private practice for over 30 years in Knoxville, Tennessee, before joining KSOSN. His practice included managing patients in all aspects of nephrology, including office, hospital, and dialysis clinic settings.
He would like his patients to know that he sees them as a whole person, not just a kidney disease. He feels that focusing on kidney-related problems should not lose sight of the individual and all their medical problems. He would like all referring providers to know that he will do his best for their patients and communicate back to them in a prompt manner.
