Deepak Nandikanti, MD, FASN, FACP, FNKF

Dr. Deepak Nandikanti developed his passion for nephrology during his medical education at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. His interest in the specialty grew through extensive clinical experience caring for patients with complex kidney diseases during his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas and was further refined during his Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee. This comprehensive training provided a strong foundation in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic kidney diseases, dialysis therapies, glomerular disorders, and kidney stone disease, while reinforcing his commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Dr. Nandikanti currently serves as Chief of Nephrology at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, Medical Director of DaVita Kidney Care – Green Valley in Henderson, and Director of Chronic Kidney Disease Programs at Kidney Specialists of Southern Nevada. In these leadership roles, he collaborates closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to advance quality initiatives, improve patient outcomes, and expand access to exceptional kidney care throughout Southern Nevada.

Known for his compassionate and approachable manner, Dr. Nandikanti believes that patient education and open communication are essential to achieving the best possible outcomes. He takes pride in building meaningful relationships with his patients, ensuring they understand their medical conditions and treatment options, and empowering them to actively participate in their healthcare decisions.
