Asima Raja, M.D.

Dr. Asima Raja chose a career in nephrology as it provides so much diversity and involves interacting with patients to help them make decisions about their treatment plans. She completed her internal medicine residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health in New York. She completed her nephrology fellowship at the Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia.

She chose to work at KSOSN because it is one of the oldest, largest, and most well-established nephrology groups serving the community. As a Las Vegas native, this is truly home to her. She values the city’s diversity and continued growth, with people moving from all over the country, and she is proud to serve the community that helped shape her. In addition, much of her extended family resides in Las Vegas, further strengthening her commitment to building her career and contributing locally.

Dr. Raja believes that listening to the patients and putting them in the first place is the best remedy for every disease treatment. She is easily approachable, easy to get along with, and always ready to have a healthy discussion.

She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the National Kidney Foundation. She is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, and some Spanish.
