Dr. Kamron Saleem chose a career in nephrology as it is a challenging field that involves understanding the complexities of medicine down to the fundamentals. He feels that to succeed as a clinician is to understand the science, and that the answers may be hidden, but are always there. He takes pride in paying attention to the details, and to find the solutions that his patients are searching for. He enjoys the field as it enables him to establish long-term relationships with his patients. From your initial clinic encounter, his goal is not only to slow progression of, but to begin a journey of improving your kidney function and your overall health.

Dr. Saleem takes pride in the time he spends to provide the optimal care for each patient, with a plan tailored to their individual needs. He enjoys managing patients with acute kidney injury and those who are critically ill in the intensive care unit, but his personal benchmark for success is improving quality of life.

Dr. Saleem earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, completed his internal medicine residency in Baltimore, Maryland, and his nephrology fellowship at the University of Arizona. He was selected as chief fellow by faculty when he was the junior-most in his fellowship program.

He is a member of American College of Physicians, American Society of Nephrology and National Kidney Foundation. He grew up in British Columbia, Canada where he put on his first pair of hockey skates at the age of four, and later played varsity basketball. He now enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
