Believing that health and well-being go hand-in-hand, Valerie Li-Jiun Chang, PA-C is an advocate of an
integrative approach to kidney care for her patients. Over the years, Valerie has had the opportunity to work with patients of all ages in oncology & hematology, urology, and internal medicine. Her experience in these disciplines has intensified her goal of helping patients maintain optimal health as well as restoring health when they become ill with a chronic disease. Hence the reason for Valerie joining the KSOSN care team where she acknowledges the great clinical challenges that kidney disorders present as well as the integral role of patient education and prevention.
Valerie is a Physician Assistant and works in the Chronic Kidney Disease clinic to provide patients with the best resources for slowing the progression of their disease and helping improve their quality of life.
Valerie was born in Taiwan, moved to the Unites States in 1988 and has called Las Vegas home for the last decade. She is a native speaker of Mandarin and Taiwanese and is also conversant in Spanish. Along with her husband, son and daughter, Valerie enjoys hiking and camping on the weekends. Valerie has been practicing yoga since 2005 and also holds a teaching certificate for the discipline.
